Michael makes music and sound design for live performance.

A collaborating artist with dance theater company Lucky Plush Productions since 2011, he has created original scores for 5 evening-length works: Cinderbox 2.0 / The Queue / SuperStrip / Rooming House / Facing and the dance film Happy Returns.

Michael has been engineering musical recordings since college, starting out behind a huge Otari console and tracking to 2” analog tape.

Michael enjoys the garden and long walks on the beaches of Lake Michigan. He is also an amateur cartoonist – he drew all the illustrations on this site. “Bunny Patootie” is a silly pseudonym intended to keep the creative process light.
